Larissa Lyons began writing romance when a spontaneous panic attack changed the course of her life (she was in bed reading at the time). After too many tests, doctors and dead ends, she found the path to healing through dietary changes and holistic means. She began writing erotic romance after meeting her critique partner Alyssa Brooks online and being corrupted and brought over to the "dark side". (Thanks, Alyssa!)

Several of Larissa's stories have won contests and publishing contracts, the most recent being her first-place finish in the 2009 Better Sex Erotic Fiction Contest.

Larissa believes in the ability of the body to heal itself, and in the power of the mind to make it happen. Most days she wears hi-top Converse (if she bothers to wear shoes at all) and alternates her time between writing stories, baking cookies and pretending to clean house.

Both she and Mr. Lyons are fans of quality television and count Firefly, Buffy, Big Bang Theory and The West Wing are among their favorites. Thank goodness for video rentals, as they chose to disconnect satellite a year ago and haven't looked back. :) In addition to writing, Larissa loves to crochet and occasionally quilts, but giving voice to the characters in her head and turning her kitchen upside down with peanut butter brownie recipes continues to dominate her time. 

Larissa donates 10% or more of every royalty check to charitable efforts. While wild, big cat rescue operations are her main focus >^..^<, she also supports zero (or negative) population growth, holistic healthcare, a reduction of all synthetic chemicals and wildfire suppression efforts.
