I just love this book! It’s my signature fun and sexy Regency. If you enjoy this, I’m confident you’ll like my other historical books. If the sexual content is a little too much, you may still love the sweet Regency, Miss Isabella Thaws a Frosty Lord.
My historicals are written using period slang and in an older style, think super steamy Jane Austen. 😉
Lady Scandal awarded the Golden Nib! “I can’t praise this book enough. Regency fans, if you like gorgeous wit in with your devilishly superb, well written, sexy reading matter, Lady Scandal should be on your ‘Must Read’ list.” Natalie, Miz Love & Crew Love’s Books
Top Pick from ARe Café: “[Lady Scandal] is the most flirtatious, sensual, and delectable treat.” Lady Rhyleigh, ARe Café ~ Selected as a Recommended Read!
Sexy historical romance Lady Scandal releases today! First time in paperback.
While written in a more “traditional Regency” style of voice (meaning it doesn’t sound like a modern story simply plopped in the past), Lady Scandal is a fun, lighthearted sexy romp much closer to Historical Romance in tone and sexual content than it is what most folks mean when they refer to a traditional Regency.
With the exception of a few authors who include sex scenes on the page–the fabulous Mary Balogh comes to mind–when readers refer to Regency romance, many are thinking sweet, clean and wholesome. That description, for the most part, applies to my holiday Christmas novella Miss Isabella Thaws a Frosty Lord, but not steamy Lady Scandal.
An extended novella at 37,000 words, the primary action takes place during a single, stormy day. If you enjoy a Regency-era “sound” to your flirty, blatantly sexy romance, I hope you’ll give Lady Scandal a try.
After years and years of no activity on the publishing front (regardless of how much activity has been going on in the background on the writing front), I’m thrilled to announce that Lady Scandal, my very first self-published release ever, has gotten a lovely makeover–complete with gorgeous new cover, thank you Victoria Cooper!–and is also coming out in print for the first time!
Releasing June 30, 2020 – Lady Scandal
